Crochet Chunky Infinity Scarf • Thick Alpaca / Merino Wool Blend

Hey all! I was excited to get my yarn shipment in the other day, so I have been busy making scarves for the Fall & Winter season! I am usually never ready for Summer to go, but since it was such a HOT one compared to what we’re used to here in the Pacific Northwest, I am indeed excited for cozy scarves & boot wearing!

WIP Wednesday • Knit Infinity Scarf

Hey guys! Happy WIP Wednesday to you out there in craft & yarn land!  What are you working on today? I’m a little tired this morning due to my toddler teething, so I’m having a cup of coffee, relaxing, and making progress on this lovely squishy scarf made with Malabrigo worsted in “Bobby Blue” hue.

July 2016 Wrap Up

July was a fun month and seemed to go on by in a blink!  We had a pretty low key Fourth of July, and were pretty excited as Nora is getting older, and we were going to set out to see if she either loved or was scared to death of fireworks! Turns out that she LOVED the fireworks! We had a lot of fun packing up some snacks and heading downtown Corvallis to the Riverfront Park.

Fancy Knit Rib Stitch Hand Towel Pattern

Hey all! So I have a lot to get caught up on here with my fam bam blogging. But the other night I did finish up my hand towels for our 2nd bathroom and so I just had to share! I am working on washcloths now, and will share those too, when they are done!

I picked Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Cotton! in the color of Buttercup. If you guys haven’t used this yarn before, you totally should try it. It’s super ultra soft, very easy to work with, and SUPER affordable (even before you use a 40% off coupon)!

Visit yarncoupons.com for craft coupons & discounts from your favorite stores!

This pattern is a pretty quick and easy one. Easy to do while you’re having a conversation or watching TV since it’s just a nice 2 row repeat! I used a Fancy Rib Stitch for this pattern, which makes the end result really stretchy. Since I like 1 skein projects, each hand towel only uses 1 ball of yarn! Read More »

May 2016 Wrap Up

May started off with just my type of nerdiness with “May the Fourth” Star Wars Day!! I was super pumped to don my Star Wars attire from head to toe all at the same time!! So much fun. I even stole my “Rey” hairstyle idea from my bonus sister (which I saw on social media and immediately told her I was going to copy it). Fun times.
