I’m Gina, thanks for visiting my blog! I’m a wife, homeschool-mom, craft lover, and major hoarder of yarn & fabric! I love to share my knitting and crochet projects I work on, patterns & roundups (both free & paid), items and apparel for makers, as well as a little DIY and up-cycling!

I created this blog in 2014 shortly after my little one was born , along with my Etsy shop, Fibreandfabrics. We relocated back to the Albany, Oregon area in 2015 after living in Eugene for 10 years. I feel blessed that I was able to transition to staying at home once my daughter was born.

When I have a few spare moments, I enjoy designing items & apparel for makers in my Zazzle shop, Shop Craft Love. If you knit, crochet, sew, embroider…or just love crafts and yarn  in general you’re sure to find something you like! Where does my passion come from?

My dear grandmother who passed in 2013, was very skilled with knitting and crochet, and I learned to knit at a young age. It wasn’t until later in life that she taught me how to crochet, and have been doing both now ever since! I had the privilege of growing up with my Grandma living in the apartment attached to our house & was thankful to have her help raise me along with my parents.  My childhood is filled with such fond memories of my “Gramcrackers” (as I would call her). 🙂

Aside from crafty things… I love technology, video games, web surfing, Photoshop, photography, playing the drums, music, and overall life. Life is good & we are so blessed by everything God has given to us. Our daughter is now 5 and is our little ray of sunshine! She gives me so many creative ideas + knitting and crochet inspiration.
